Now let's get into the review of greys anatomy Season 2

👩‍⚕️Grey's Anatomy Season 2 Review 👩‍⚕️

Season 2 of Grey's Anatomy is a roller coaster ride of emotions and twists and turns in the show. We as the audience get a recap of what happened in the previous season with the first-ever appearance of Derek's Ex-Wife. With that, it becomes a major storyline in the first half of the season as Meredith and Derek break up and he goes back to the ex and they are beginning to go through the divorce of them. With that major storyline for the season 2, we can get to the see how the development of the relationships and friendships between the interns and how that changes the dynamic of the show and how the audience gets to see through Meredith's eyes how she is dealing with the problems and how there is still competition between the interns.

👩‍⚕️Greys Anatomy Season 2 review👩‍⚕️

As for character development, we get to see how the interns are slowly working to towards what specific field with Alex thinking of going to the plastic surgery route and Christina going to the heart department. But we also got to see some more background origin story for most of the characters. With George's Dad and family coming into town. But we get to see more of the friendship between Christina and Meredith as we get the scene that they are each others person.

But we also have some relationship development between Alex and Issy as they become closer together and but get derailed because Alex sleeps again with the nurse and that was slowly fizzled out as Izzy gets into the bed with a dying patient with a heart condition.

We also get solid and forward-moving development also in Meredith and Derek as she has accepted that she does not have him. As Derek falls back to the ex that cheated on him fizzled out in New York. to help repair the marriage but they are on a tipping point of breaking up.

We also get develop forward-moving of the characters of Addison and Derek as they try to become friends with Meredith. But Meredith has sworn off men and she hooks up with stays ex's dog vet and we get to see how Meredith is without Derek in the picture which is good for her. Except when she sleeps with George and has an emotional breakdown

We also get more back story around Meredith has sworn off men and with the

storyline with her dad coming into the picture after a long period of time to find out that he had the second family and he forgot about her. As he left the family. But also you have to think that Meredith's mum was having an affair with the chief of surgery and also that his wife knew about it. Which allowed the audience to connect with Meredith more. As the show is seen through her point of view.

We also get the introduction of Mc Steamy (Mark Solan) to the mix as we are slowly getting more and more background on all of the characters. And we also get introduced to Callie Torres an ortho surgery resident. Which will give as the mention of the drama on the show.

As I have mentioned in previous reviews this show is an ensemble slowly getting writers to need to find the balance of the character relationships and balance the development of character arc. Which in this season 2 the writers have done an overall good job of that. But there are some character storylines that could have been better off not been included. One of those storylines was Izzy and Denny and that storyline as doctors are not meant to fall in love with your patients.

And relationship development that I like and how they deal with it is when Christina gets an abortion for a baby as we know that she is focused on her career and that is it she does not want the children or the family she wants her work to be her baby. And that Dr. burke was not very supportive of her decision in the end. But she had some complications with the pregnancy that did some damage to her body. But you can tell she was relieved that she was not pregnant anymore.

👩‍⚕️Greys Anatomy Season 2 Review 👩‍⚕️

Throughout the season we get to see a number of medical cases that are great and intense and interesting to follow from earlier in the season we go to a train wreck with an injury that is severe in nature and we also get cases that are routine in nature as well. Which helps to keep the medical side of the show interesting and help the show bring forward medical mystery and bring awareness to illnesses that would otherwise have gone unnoticed to the public eye

👩‍⚕️Best moments of the Season 2 👩‍⚕️

1. Dr Bailey and George going through the labour process

2. Addison Showing up and making sure that the drama is coming into effect

3. The introduction to Mark Solan and creating more drama

4. Meredith growth in herself to move forward from Derek

5. The introduction to Caille Torres

👩‍⚕️Worst moments of the season 2 👩‍⚕️

1. Denny and the screw up around that

2. George and Meredith Sleeping together and the repercussions of that situation.

The best episode overall is Season 2 Episode 17

👩‍⚕️Greys Anatomy Season 2 Review 👩‍⚕️

Overall, the season was well written and structured with more growth in characters that otherwise would have been underdeveloped. This season also

Helps to build a better step of the foundation for the next season and how they are going to that we will see how that is going to happen the next season.

Overall Rating of Season 2 a 7/10
